RePL Training

You will need a Remote Pilot Licence to fly Dronehab flagship aircraft commercially. We partner with FPV Australia to get you certified.

You can fly the DJI Mavic recreationally without a licence — but the moment you fly commercially, or fly anything heavier than 25 kg, CASA wants to see a Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) and an Operator’s Certificate (ReOC).

For our flagship aircraft — the Agras T100, T50, T25P, Matrice 350 RTK, and Matrice 400 — RePL is essentially mandatory. Take-off weights run from 60 kg to 150 kg fully loaded.

Our training partner: FPV Australia

Dronehab partners with FPV Australia for RePL training. They run RePL courses Australia-wide, both in-person and online, and they’re the operator we recommend to every customer who needs to get certified to fly their aircraft commercially.

What FPV Australia offers

  • RePL (Remote Pilot Licence) — the basic operator licence for commercial flying
  • Above 25kg endorsement — required for the Agras T50, T100, and Matrice 400
  • Aerial application endorsement — required for spraying and spreading operations
  • ReOC (Remote Operator’s Certificate) — required for businesses operating commercial drone fleets

How to enrol — important

Enrolment happens directly with FPV Australia. When you sign up, please nominate “Dronehab” as your referral source in the Notes / Comments section. This is a requirement of our partnership — it lets FPV Australia track that you came from us, and confirms your enrolment is legitimate.

If the referral isn’t recorded at enrolment, the partnership benefit can’t be applied retroactively.

Already trained?

If you already hold an RePL and just need an endorsement upgrade for an Agras T-series or Matrice 400, FPV Australia run those modules separately. Contact us first — we’ll talk you through what’s needed for the specific aircraft you’re flying.
