Lower take-off weight (92 kg vs 150 kg), smaller payload, and a quad-rotor frame makes the T50 easier to transport, faster to set up, and more economical to operate when you are not flying maximum-coverage broadacre. For most horticulture and mid-size cropping work, the T50 is the right tool.

Operators flying the T50 commercially need a Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) appropriate to its takeoff weight. The aircraft itself registers under CASA's drone scheme. Dronehab partners with FPV Australia for RePL training.
